What We Are About
Conscious Decisions is about creating stronger communities and sharing stories to enable people to make healthy and responsible decisions that will improve their life, their community, as well as the health of the planet.
The purpose of Conscious Decisions is to capture the public’s imagination and educate them in ways that will help them make informed and eco-friendly decisions in their everyday life, instead of just making decisions based on habit. As a result of this effort, people will be able to make decisions that help improve not only the environment, but also quality of life.

GreenTowns
GreenTowns is a new network that connects and celebrates local green initiatives in 15,000 communities, their leaders and the sustainable communities we are all striving to create. It brings together successful sustainability efforts at the local level, presents these initiatives by town and by category, and invites people to share their expertise and experiences.
Fairfield GreenTeamFairfield GreenTeam, the community resource that is focused on green and sustainable living in Fairfield, CT. Fairfield GreenTeam provides Fairfield business owners and residents a place to find local information as well as community events, like Fairfield Green Drinks, that provide opportunities to share ideas, engage in activities which will promote sustainability in Fairfield and throughout CT, and provide resources and information needed to make environmentally friendly choices every day which will create sustainable infrastructures.
Doing our Best
The average person is pretty fortunate. If you are reading this, you most likely have access to electricity, presumably shelter; and my guess is that you are not too far away from food and/or your favorite beverage. You have free time, (you are reading this) and at the moment at least, most likely are in a safe environment. In addition, these days we all have the luxury of living in a popular culture filled with green choices. We may not all agree on green terms and definitions, but at least in general, people are making an effort to learn more and are to trying to take measures to live as responsibly as they can.
